The Verdict: The Ghost Town
Tube8's "Amateur" category is where webcam content lives, and it's increasingly abandoned. Once a major player, this site has been left behind in the Aylo portfolio, and it shows.
The Experience:
The interface feels dated (circa 2015). Content loads slowly, and the search function is basic. Webcam-specific content is buried under generic amateur uploads.
Standout Features:
- Honestly? Not many. The download feature works reliably.
- Less aggressive advertising than some competitors
The Downsides:
Stale content library—many videos are 5+ years old. Broken links are common. The site feels unmaintained, with spam uploads not being cleaned up.
Bottom Line: Only visit if you're looking for vintage webcam content from the 2010s era. For current material, this is a waste of time.
